Syndel's Birthday Outing

So for Syndel's birthday we picked her up from school as a family and took her to the movies. We went and saw 'Star Wars-Clone Wars" and then took her to get her ear's pierced she has been wanting this done since she was really little and we have always told her she had to wait till she was 5 years old. So that seemed so far off at the time but now it is here and so that is what we did. We told her it would hurt and she still wanted to get it done. It was a fun day.
Syndel is getting ready by being really silly with a toy destraction they had there.

The girl there was a little scary because she had piercings everywhere. But I figured she must be experienced in piercing then. lol! She is marking Syndel's ears with a marker. We were very picky and had her redo it a bunch of times. So this was the longest part of the whole thing.

This is them getting ready. So it hasn't hit her yet. They had one girl on each ear so they could do it at the same time. That way she wouldn't change her mind half way through. I was afraid that might happen.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Syndel did awesome but you could tell that she was really trying to smile through the pain. But she didn't cry. I was so proud of her because I was nervous.


The sucker made it all better!!!

Her grandparents were all there to watch her be so brave.
